An AED deposit is not necessarily an AED account

A broker may accept a payment sent in dirhams and convert it into another account currency. Ask separately about accepted deposit currencies, account base currencies, currencies you can hold and withdrawal settlement currencies. An account displaying your balance in AED may simply be converting a valuation for reporting.

Follow the complete money path

Record the sending bank, beneficiary name, destination country and payment reference. Obtain the bank’s exchange rate and transfer charge, then the broker’s conversion policy. Ask how a withdrawal is routed and whether intermediary-bank fees can be deducted. Avoid assuming a local office means a local bank-transfer destination.

Compare effective proceeds

For your own funding comparison, record the AED sent, the account-currency amount credited, all stated fees and the time of the quote. Repeat the calculation for withdrawal rather than assume a symmetric conversion rate. Keep transfer charges separate from trading commissions so that a low spread does not obscure expensive funding.

Current evidence limits

We have not confirmed AED base-account availability for the exact entities in our directory. This page provides the checks needed to verify it, rather than publish an unsupported list. Use the linked funding guide and ask the provider for written account-specific confirmation before transferring money.
